No-Kill Utah
The Pet Samaritan Fund partnered with the No Kill Utah coalition. Together Utah rescue organizations,
shelters, veterinarians, and animal control agencies strive to end the euthanasia of homeless dogs and cats statewide and to
promote humane alternatives for feral cats. |
|
NKUT goals include:
- To find homes for at least 90 percent of dogs and cats entering Utah shelters, effectively making Utah a No-Kill state by
2019.
- Our plan is straightforward: provide spay/neuter services where they are needed most so that fewer animals go into
shelters, and increase adoptions so that more animals are placed into new homes
- Step by critical step, we believe that together, we can bring the number of pets killed in Utah shelters to zero.
Please visit NKUT's website nkut.org for more
information on low-cost spay and neuter.
